CampAlta is situated in upper Alta by the Alta riverbank, ca. six kilometres from Alta Centre.

CampAlta was established in 2014 and surpassed Wisløff camping which has been operating since the 70s.

CampAlta is a centre for outdoor life and we facilitate for many types of outdoor activities like riverboat safari, grouse hunting, salmon fishing, sea fishing, ice fishing, skiing, walking trips, dog sledding, northern light safari and snowmobile safari.

We can offer accommodation in excellent surroundings by the Alta River.

We got 17 clean cabins in different standards, sizes and price located in quiet and sheltered area.

We also have up to 70 caravan places with power for caravans, motorhomes and tents spread over an area of 20 acres lawn.

We have a warm and clean service building equipped with a fully functional kitchen.

The locker rooms have access to 6 showers and 8 toilets. There is no extra costs for showering.

Caravans/motorhomes have access to fresh water and emptying of waste.

We have a washing room for renting of washing machines and dryer.

We have a barbeque hut with access to gas grill and space for around twenty-five people, which our guests can freely utilise.

We have a lavvo camp where one can rent lodging in a lavvo or rent the major lavvo for different types of arrangements.
